Ingredients

  1. 1 cupdried garbanzo beans aka chickpeas
  2. 1/2onion diced
  3. 4minced garlic cloves
  4. 1/2 teaspoonground cumin seed
  5. 2 teaspoonlemon juice
  6. 1/4 teaspoonbaking soda
  7. 1 tablespoonwheat flour
  8. 1/2 teaspoonchili powder
  9. 1/2 teaspooncoriander powder
  10. 1 cupchopped coriander leaves
  11. 1/2 cupchopped mint leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Soak dried chickpeas overnight.

    Drain chickpeas for excess water.Now in a grinder combine all the ingredients and form a coarse mixture not fine or pasty but grainy..

    Shape them into balls.Fry them on medium high heat for 5 min at 350 F Or until brown.

    Combine with tahini and fresh veggies and serve with a pita bread..
