Steps

Wash rice and dal. Put water, turmeric powder, chopped tomato,and garlic paste and salt together.

Cook for 10 minutes or until it become soften. U can add water according to ur desire consistency for khichdi.

Once it get cooked completely temper it.

For tempering heat oil in a pan. Add matured seed,garlic, chilli and asofodita. Fry for 2 minutes and pour this mixture on the top of khichdi and cover it for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now garnish with coriander leaves. Khichdi is ready. Serve it with roasted tomato chutney.

For chutney

Roast the tomato and peel it.

Mash it and put chilli, garlic and coriander paste. Add salt and tomato chunti is ready.
