Ingredients

  1. 1/2 lbCarne Asada
  2. 1/2 CupChopped Onion
  3. 1/4 CupChopped Fresh Cilantro
  4. 1/2 tbspOregano
  5. 1/2 tbspThyme
  6. 1/2 tbspCumin
  7. 1/2 tbspPepper
  8. 1/2 tbspSea Salt
  9. 1/2 tbspSmoked Parika
  10. 1/2 tbspFennel Seed
  11. 1/2 tbspGround Orange Peel
  12. 2Limes (Cut into 1/8 wedges)
  13. 1 tbspButter (Unsalted)
  14. 9 ozFresh Linguine
  15. 1 Jar (23 oz)Prego Spaghetti Sauce (Garlic & Herb)
  16. 1 BottleHerdez Taquiera Salsa Verde or Roji Street Sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Heat skillet on medium-high until hot evenly. Add Fennel seed and Orange peel until golden brown. Add carne asada and brown evenly. Add and stir in seasonings while cooking.

    Add cilantro and onion and stir until mixed and cooking with asada. simmer

  3. 3

    In a medium heat pan, add sauce and stir occasionally. add 1 cup water to another pan on high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and add in Linguine until soft and no longer “chalky” taste. Drain water.

    Plate linguine on bottom, then add a dollop of sauce before topping with asada. Place two wedges on side. Drizzle street sauce choice on top and squeeze lime juice over. Serve and enjoy!
