Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 cupBoiled turad Dal
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Coconut
  • 2Onions
  • 2Tomatoes
  • 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  • 1 tspGreen chilli paste
  • 1 tspHing(asafoetida)
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspCumin seeds
  • 1 tspMustard seeds
  • 1 tspCumin coriander powder
  • 2 tspOil
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder

Steps

    Take a container add turad Dal wash it nicely and take a press cooker add turad Dal & water boil it 3whistles.

    Take a pan add oil heat it Cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste,onion, coconut,tomato fry it well & grind it fine paste.

    In same pan add oil heat it add mustard seeds,Cumin seeds, hing, onion,girnded paste of onion tomato coconut paste fry it & add turad Dal, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder,Cumin coriander powder, brown sugar (file) add & fry it well & add water boil it nicely.
