firstly, in a pressure cooker heat olive oil and cumin and a pinch of hing.continue to saute onion followed by slit green chilli and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste. - 2
Also, saute tomato till they turn soft and mushy.

Now add turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala and salt. saute on low flame.furthermore, add rice and moong dal. saute for a minute on low flame.

Now pour water and coriander leaves. mix well. cover and pressure cook for 5 whistles on medium flame.

Finally, serve masala khichdi with curd and pickle.
