Thanks to Cookpad, This recipe is a tribute to all Those AMMI'S out there who gave us simple , healthy & awsome childhood.This halwa reminds me of those golden days when there was no food delivery services and for kids anytime meetha craving ammi jhatpat make this quick dessert with the easiest ingredient available at home.to make it more pleasent ammi add colourful murabas and it was the best dessert for us kids at that time.

To make syrup,Take 2 cup water & 1 cup sugar in a pot and keep on medium heat.let the sugar dissolve completely in water, then lower the flame and let the syrup simmer.

Heat ghee in a pan.add green cardamom.add atta and fry till it changes it's colour.

Fry atta in ghee on medium flame with continue stirring till change of colour and it's texture becomes crumbs like.then add sugar syrup in pan.continue stir the batter in pan to remove lumps and sticking.add milk or cream if u like.

Gradually the halwa start taking it's shape and coming together, leaves the sides of pan.mix and fry till the batter looks glossy & halwa comes in center of pan.add bite size chunks of muraba and raisins and mix well. Simmer till all the syrup is absorbed.

Dish out halwa in a bowl and serve.Enjoy with Cookpad.
