Taste just like the restaurants!

My wife loves Queso and tortillas. We have tried different recipes but finally settled on making our own. This is where we are currently.

Mozzarella could be substituted for the Mexican cheese. Any easy to melt cheese that "strings" could be used. Also a crusty bread, toasted, works in place of tortillas. My wife likes to put a thin slice of tomato on it when using bread. You can add some crushed red pepper for heat during the sausage/chile cooking phase if you desire. 07-Aug-15 As a side note, I tried this last weekend, but only had some hot Italian sausage (removed from casings), pretty good also.

This recipe is great tasting and easy to make for yourself or your next party.I have made it before without the cream cheese and cream of mushroom soup but those two ingredients add an additional layer of flavor and creaminess that I think makes it that much better.

I stumbled across this on the internet and was curious about the white american cheese over the mexican queso melting cheeses. Works out surprisingly well, tastes great, and easier on a budget.

This is a simplified version of my Chorizo Queso Nachos. No messing with flour to build a sauce, just an easy queso that can have just about any ingredient added to change the flavor.

I've made this before, on a whim as usual....this stuff is even good cold, even still spreadable when its cold! Great with chips or even on a sandwich as a cheese spread.

I've never made queso before. I decided to make my own rendition of it with some things I love.
