Ingredients

Approx 225 serv
  1. 3 sticksbutter
  2. 2 cupssugar
  3. 2eggs
  4. 1/2 cupmolasses
  5. 4 cupsflour
  6. 2 tsp.baking soda
  7. 3 tsp.cinnamon
  8. 3 tsp.ginger
  9. 3 tsp.cloves
  10. Additional 1 cup sugar for coating

Cooking Instructions

    Cream together butter and 2 cups sugar in mixer until blended.

    Beat in eggs and molasses.

  3. 3

    In a medium bowl combine all dry ingredients.

  4. 4

    Add spoonful at a time to mixer until all dry ingredients are completely incorporated. Place in fridge for 30 minutes to firm up.

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Roll into grape sized balls and roll in bowl of sugar to coat.

    Add to parchment paper lined baking sheets.

  7. 7

    Bake in oven for 7 minutes. Rotate sheets and cook an additional 7 minutes. (14 minutes total).

    Allow to rest for 2 minutes and then cool on cooling racks.

    This recipe makes a LOT of little cookies...approximately 225 or so but trust me, they will go fast! This dough can be frozen too if you don't want to use all at once. Enjoy!
