Blanch the spinach leaves and puree them.

In a pan heat the butter and add the cumin seeds, when they crackle add the onion saute until pink.

Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato and all spices, stirring regularly.

Cook the spinach till the raw taste disappears.

Palak saag is ready. Serve hot.
