Ingredients

15 mts bake
6 people
  • 1 cupatta
  • 1/4 cuppowdered sugar
  • 1/2 cupunsalted butter room temperature
  • 1/2 tspbaking powder
  • 1/4 tspbaking soda
  • Pinchsalt
  • 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  • 3 tbspmilk room temperature

Steps

15 mts bake
  1. 1

    In a large bowl take butter and powdered sugar, beat together with the help of hand mixer or whisk.

  2. 2

    Add atta, baking powder, baking soda, cardamom powder and pinch of salt.

  3. 3

    Mix & crumble the ingredients well with hand.

  4. 4

    Add milk and start to combine well, do not knead, just combine to form a dough, also make sure when the doughis cut, it has crumbly texture.

  5. 5

    Now flatten and roll out slightly thick with the help of rolling pin, seal the edges with your hand.

  6. 6

    Now cut with cookie cutter into any desired shape.

  7. 7

    Bake the biscuit in preheated oven at 160℃ for 15 minutes or till the edges turn slightly golden.

  8. 8

    Alow the biscuit to cool completely. Biscuits will be soft when hot and turns crunchy when cooled.

  9. 9

    Atta biscuit is ready, serve with tea or store in airtight container for atleast 15 days.
