Wash & soak the noth lentils for 2 hours.

Put them in cooker with 2 cup of water,salt,red chilli powder,ginger garlic paste & tomatoes. cover the lid & after a whistle,slow the flame & cook for 30 minutes.

Open the lid & mash the dal with masher.put 1 cup of water & cook for 5 minutes.switch off the flame.

Heat pure ghee & add cumin seeds till aroma smells.

Pour the tadka in the cooker.Serve hot with parantha.
