Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupSoaked Rice
  • 1/2 cupSoaked moong dal
  • 1/2 cupPalak
  • 1 tspJeera
  • 1/4 tspHaldi / turmeric powder
  • 4-5Black pepper
  • 2Cloves
  • 1 cupmix veg
  • As neededCarrot, beans, green peas, pumpkin, potato etc
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 4 pinchHing / asafoetida
  • 3 cupWater

Steps

  1. 1

    Put soked rice & dal in mixer grinder and grind in to rough paste

  2. 2

    Put all vegetables in mixer grinder and grind in to rough paste

  3. 3

    Heat a pan with ghee

  4. 4

    Add black pepper & cloves

  5. 5

    Now add jeera & hing

  6. 6

    Add vegetable paste and fry 2 min

  7. 7

    Add rice & dal paste

  8. 8

    Add haldi powder

  9. 9

    Fry 2 to 3 min. On low flame

  10. 10

    Add water

  11. 11

    Mix well

  12. 12

    Cover and cook for 20 min on low flame
