In a large bowl transfer idli batter add 1/4 tsp salt, mix well.

Heat apne pan, grease with oil, pour batter with spoon in each cavity.

Cover with lid and cook for 2 minutes on low flame. After 2 mts flip the appe, sprinkle very little oil.

Cover with lid and cook one 2 minutes from other side. Take them out in plate.

Heat pan add oil, add ginger, capsicum saute for 1 minute on low flame.

Add tomato sauce, salt, red chilli sauce, vinegar, soya sauce, red chilli powder, mix well, cook for 2 minutes.

Add apps and mix well on low flame. Add black pepper powder and mix gently.

For garnishing sprinkle green coriander

Chilli Appan Manchurian is ready to serve. Serve hot.
