Ingredients

  1. 750 grmince beef
  2. 150 grtapioca starch
  3. 1egg white
  4. 5garlic (mashed)
  5. 5garlics (fried then mashed)
  6. 1 tspsalt
  7. 1/2 tsppepper
  8. 1/2 tspsugar
  9. 200 grice cube
  10. Soup:
  11. 200 grbeef frame
  12. 1 bunchchoy sum or bokcoy (cut up)
  13. 2spring onions (chopped)
  14. 5garlics (fried then mashed)
  15. 1 tspsalt
  16. 1/2 tspsugar
  17. 1/2 tsppepper
  18. 1pot of water
  19. Additional: (optional)
  20. Vermicheli
  21. Yellow noodle
  22. Fried onion
  23. Fried dumpling
  24. Steamed stuffed dumpling
  25. Tofu (fried or steamed)
  26. Chicken or beef tofu

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind mince beef with ice cube, place it into a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Add mashed garlics, fried and mashed garlics, salt, sugar, peper, and tapioca starch, mix well.

  3. 3

    Boil water in a pot, make balls from beef mixture with 2 spoons, when the balls float means they are done, take them out of the pot.

  4. 4

    For the soup: boil water with beef frame for 15-20 mins, add fried and mashed garlics, salt, sugar, pepper, choy sum or bokcoy, and spring onion.

  5. 5

    Add additional ingredients if you like.

  6. 6

    Perfect to consume on cold or rainy day.
