Ingredients

45 Mins
  • 100 Gramgreen moong daal
  • 100 Gramchana daal
  • 100 Gramyellow moong daal
  • 50 grammasoor daal
  • 1 Tablespooncarrom seeds
  • 250 gramwheat flour
  • 15Garlic cloves
  • 2Green chillies
  • 2Lemons
  • to tastesalt
  • 4-5 tablespoonoil
  • for serving
  • 4-5 Teaspoonghee
  • 3-4Onions

    Wash thoroughly and soak all mentioned daals together for minimum 45 minutes. Than boil the daals in an open vessel for 15-20 mins with 2 glasses of water.

    Meanwhile knead A roti type dough for baati with salt and carom seeds. Make small ball size equal balls from dough and keep it fir heatinf in A baati box or sigri chulha on lowest flame. Flip the sided and let it cook from all the sides nicely.

  3. 3

    Now make A rough paste of chillies, ginger and garlic in a mortar. heat oil in A pan and put this paste, red chilli powder and turn off the flame. Immediately pour this on cioked daal stir well and let it simmer for few mins on low so that all spices blend well.

    Now check th batis if cooked remove from the box. Slice the onions and keep ready for serving.

  5. 5

    Serve with hot daal. Squueze some lemon juice in daal before serving.
