Ingredients

  1. For making gulab jamun we need
  2. 100 gm Khoya
  3. 100 gmpaneer
  4. 2 tspall purpose flour
  5. 1 tsp semolina
  6. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  7. 4 tsp ghee
  8. 2 cup refined oil
  9. For sugar syrup:-
  10. 1 cup sugar
  11. 2 cupwater
  12. 4-5piece cardamom
  13. For cheesecake
  14. 2 1/2 cupgrinded marie biscuits
  15. 1/4 cupchopped cashew
  16. 150 gm melted butter
  17. 1 1/2 cup crumbled panter
  18. 1/2 cup hung curd
  19. 1 cup milkmaid
  20. 1/2 cup fresh cream
  21. 3bottle yakult
  22. 1 pinchsaffron
  23. 1/4 cup warm milk
  24. 1 tsp gelatin
  25. 1/4 cupWater
  26. For garnishing :-
  27. as neededPistachios
  28. as needed rose petals

Cooking Instructions

    First we will make gulab jamuns. For this take a plate, add khoya, paneer, all purpose flour, semolina, baking powder and mix it well by hand and turn into a soft compact dough.

    Meanwhile, we prepare the sugar syrup. For this, take a saucepan, add sugar, water, cardamom and boil it on medium flame till sugar melts completely. It will takes 10 to 15 minutes.

    After 10 to 15 mins, look into the sugar syrup. The sugar would be melted. Set aside.

    Make small balls from already prepare dough of gulab jamuns.

    Then take a pan, add ghee and refine oil into it, and heat it on low flame.

    After oil is heated, slowly add the prepared balls one by one. Fry it on the lowest heat. Make sure to not put all balls together. Keep some space for the balls to expand.

    After gulab jamuns are fried, keep it on a kitchen towel for 5 mins.

    After 5 minutes, add gulab jamuns into the prepared sugar syrup, (make sure that the sugar syrup is warm) and cover with the lid. Keep aside and prepare the cheesecake layer in the meantime.

    Now we prepare base of the cheesecake. For this we need blended marie biscuits, chopped cashews and melted butter.

    Now take a big plate, add blended marie biscuits, chopped cashew and mix it well.

    Gradually add melted butter and mix it well with the crumbled biscuits.

    After mixing all the ingredients, it looks like wet sand. Like below

    Here, I am taking a 7 inch cake tin. Add prepared biscuit mixture into cake tin and press it by palm. Make a base around the cake tin.

    Now put the cake tin in refrigerator.

    Meanwhile, in small bowl take 1/4 cup warm milk and add pinch of saffron. Mix well and keep it aside, till needed.

    Take a bowl, add gelatin and water. Mix it well and keep aside till the gelatin blooms.

    Now we make second layer of this cheesecake. In mixture grinder jar, add crumbled paneer, hung curd and milkmaid.

    After that add cream and yakult. Grind into a fine paste.

    Transfer this paneer yakult cream mixture into a big bowl

    Add saffron mixture and gelatin mixture into it and mix it well.

    Now take out the cake tin from the fridge and place the prepare gulab jamuns into it.

    Now slowly pour the paneer yakult cream mixture on top of the jamuns.

    Keep it in refrigerator for 4 hours or until it totally set.

    After 4hours or when it is totally set, get it out of the refrigerator and de mould it.

    Now garnish with some grinded pistachios and some dried rose petals.

    Your yummy and delicious cheesecake is ready to serve.
