Grate the coconut and roast it in a pan by adding sugar and cardamom till it becomes slight brownish red.

Keep the stuffing aside, in the same pan put water, add salt, ghee, sugar to it.When it starts boiling add semolina to it by continuous stirring to it in low flame. Then the dough is ready and keep aside.

After slightly cooling down knead it gently by greasing your hand with oil.

Then make small balls to it.Make a bowl shape of each ball and add the stuffing to it and close it.

Then dip fry in oil till golden brown

Manda pitha is ready to serve.
