Ingredients

  • 100 gmswhole wheat flour
  • 2 spoonsbesan/gram flour
  • 1/2 spoonajwain/carom seeds
  • 1/2 bowlcurd
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 bowlchopped methi/fenugreek leaves
  • 1/2 spoonchilli powder
  • 1/4 spoonturmeric powder
  • Pinchblack pepper powder
  • 2 spoonsoil/ghee to add in the dough
  • as requiredWater to knead a smooth dough
  • 1 spoonghee for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients in it and knead a smooth dough, using water only if required or you can add more curd to it.

    Take some part of the dough and roll into a thin chapati. cook this chapati on a tawa for 2 minutes. Cook from both sides till golden brown then apply ghee on it and cook for another few seconds.

    Serve the theplas with achar or chutney.
