  • 1 cupmoong dal(black moong dal if available)
  • 1/2 cuptoor dal
  • 1/2 cupjaggery
  • 1/2 cupImli juice
  • 1/4 cupPeanut
  • 1/4 TeaspoonGreen chilli
  • 1/2 TeaspoonGinger paste
  • 1/4 Teaspoongarlic paste
  • 1 TeaspoonRed chilli powder
  • 1 TeaspoonCoriander powder
  • 1 TeaspoonTurmeric powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoonasafoetida
  • PinchDry methi(fenugreek)
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  • 6-8Curry leaves
  • as neededChopped Coriander leaves
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 Teaspoonoil
  • as neededWater
  • Gujarati Kadhi
  • 1 bowlcurd
  • 1/2 cupchickpeas flour
  • 1 Teaspoongreen chilli
  • 1/2 Teaspoonchopped green garlic
  • 1/2 Teaspoonginger paste
  • 2 TeaspoonSugar
  • as neededWater
  • For Tempering
  • 2 TeaspoonGhee
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  • 6-8curry leaves
  • as neededChopped Coriander leaves
  • 1dry red chilli
  • Pinchasafoetida
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Boiled moog dal, toor dal and peanuts. Add pinch of methi and cumin seeds and little salt.

    In pan take oil and add all masala and sauté 1 minute.after that add boliled moog dal paste and water.add imli water and jaggery as per your test.

    Gravy should be thin not too much thick.cook 10 minute.At last sprinkle some chopped coriander.

    For kadhi add all kadhi’s ingredients except tempering. Mix with whisker.take ghee for tempering add all tempering ingredients and Add in kadhi.Boil at least 5 minutes.

    Serve with kadhi and rice.
