Jalfrezi is a curry dish originating in the Indian subcontinent and popular throughout the region and beyond. The basic ingredient of jalfrezi is meat, fish, paneer or vegetables, stir-fried and served in a thick spicy sauce. Common further ingredients include bell peppers, onions and tomatoes. For a personal twist I added one of my favorite fruit pineapple juice. And the outcome is wonderful. The sweet and sour taste of pineapple enhances the taste of jalfrezi to next level.
