In a saucepan heat water. Add salt & oil. Add the rice flour & cook on medium flame till the mixture
is like a dough. - 2
Now let the dough cool down for few minutes. Grease a chakli maker. Add the dough in the
chakli maker with sev blade attached. - 3
Meanwhile heat water in idli vessel. Grease the idli mould plate.
On the greased idli mould plate. Press the chakli maker in a circular motion. Cut the extra strings as the mould is full. - 4
Repeat the same process for remaining dough. Steam the prepared idiyappam for 8-9 minutes on medium flame in idli vessel or until it's done.

Serve hot with coconut chicken curry
