Ingredients

  1. 2 cupssticky Rice
  2. 100 gmsJaggery
  3. 50-80 gramsBlack Sesame Seeds(til)
  4. 4 cupsWater

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the rice in a bowl of water overnight. After that drain the excess water.
    Then grind this. Add water and form a batter

    Roast the sesame seeds (til) in a pan until this gives a beautiful aroma. Grind this.

    Take a pan and add the jaggery to it. When the jaggery starts melting add the ground til..this will form the filling for the pithas

    Heat a pan and spread the rice batter over it just like dosa with the help of a

    Put the filling of jaggery and til.
    As and when the rice batter gets little cooked fold it from side covering the filling of til and jaggery.

    Flip it over and heat in a low flame. Make sure that jaggery remains intact and don't melt.
    Take out on a plate and serve.
