Prepare the fish by removing the scales and cleaning it. Cut through it then sprinkle with salt and let dry

Heat oil and deep fry the fish. Should be brown and crunchy

Make the sauce-heat oil in a different saucepan add onions and fry till translucent, add tomatoes and all the chopped peppers including the hot one. Also add garam masala and salt

Make sure it is well cooked till it forms a paste, then add a cup of water and simmer in low heat

Serve the fish with the sauce on the side with ugali
