Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cbutter
  2. 1 csugar
  3. 2eggs
  4. 1 cmilk
  5. 1 TBSvanilla
  6. 2.5 call purpose flour
  7. 2 tspbaking powder
  8. 2 TBSinstant coffee

Cooking Instructions

    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy

    Add eggs one at a time. Mix well and add vanilla, mix

  3. 3

    Sift flour and baking powder. Add to butter mixture alternating with milk starting and ending with flour

  4. 4

    Take half of the batter and add the coffee powder.

  5. 5

    Pour into baking tin alternating between the white batter and the coffee batter. Swirl a toothpick around. Tap tin lightly and bake till a skewer inserted comes out clean.

    Allow to cool in tin for 10mins then tip onto a rack to cool completely. Enjoy with tea
