I have so many old satsuma and blood orange at home so this is a great recipe to use them up, great booster for a great start in the morning or snack or even a delicious dessert 🍊😋

I have so many old satsuma and blood orange at home so this is a great recipe to use them up, great booster for a great start in the morning or snack or even a delicious dessert 🍊😋

Peel oranges skin off and cut in half.

Toast some dry coconut on a pan for a few minutes

Making orange syrup. Squeeze some orange juice from a few oranges on to a small saucepan, water, add some sugar, honey and 1 lime. Bring to boil over medium heat for a few min until sauce start to thicken.

On a higher heat griddled pan, add your orange on the pan (the cut face side down) grilled on the pan for a min to warm them up.

Plate up your warm orange and drizzle your syrup over orange slices, sprinkle some ground cinnamon, add some mint and toasted coconut pieces for refreshing and allow to cool a bit before serving.
