Sauté the garlic with olive oil in a pan, then add the tomato sauce and drained mackerel.

Cook for about 15 minutes on low heat, season with salt, and add oregano to taste.

In a separate pan, toast the crumbled bread with garlic, olive oil, and chili pepper.

Boil the spaghetti, drain it al dente, and add it to the pan with the sauce. Mix the pasta well.

Before serving, sprinkle with the toasted bread.

Suggestions: You can add capers and black olives to make it more flavorful... To my friends from Puglia and all fans of tarallini, I suggest crumbling and toasting a tarallo instead of bread... Enjoy your meal!
