Homemade breaded and fried meatballs made with ground beef, sautéed onion, and bread crumbs soaked in milk.

Season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Add the chopped parsley and the bread crumbs soaked in milk and drained. Mix well and set aside.

Separately, finely chop the onion and garlic, and sauté them in olive oil. Add them to the meat mixture and mix thoroughly.

Shape the mixture into round meatballs about the size of a ping pong ball.

Coat the meatballs in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and finally roll in bread crumbs.

Fry the meatballs in hot oil until golden brown.

Remove the meatballs from the oil and place them on a tray lined with paper towels.

Serve with French fries as in this recipe, or with a variety of salads.
