Heat the ghee on one side(low flame), another side keep the water to make the sugar syrup. Add the sugar, make 1 string consistency(saffron strands optional)Add the besan at this stage. Don't worry if the besan is not sieved. Start mixing,stir well until flour blends with the syrup. Keep pouring 2 to 3tspn of hot ghee in between (time interval of 3 to 4 mins), the mixture will start to leave the pan, ghee is fully absorbed.. immediately transfer to a greased plate, level it up.

Rest aside for 15 to 20 min. Cut it into the desired shape when the mixture is a little warm. Garnish it with some saffron strands. Serve.
