Sauté the green onion and garlic in olive oil. Add the cleaned and chopped squid, cook until softened, then pour in the white wine and let it evaporate.

Add the tomato paste and dissolve it with the water. Season with salt and red pepper flakes. Simmer the sauce over low heat for 20 minutes. Near the end of cooking, carefully add the squid ink from the ink sacs.

Cook the spaghetti until al dente. Toss the pasta in the pan with the sauce, then serve.
