Kokkinisto

Kokkinisto is usually a reddened sweet Greek stew using tomato and red wine as a Main base then slow cooking with beef or lamb.
I’ve tried this dish many times and as lovely as it is, I just wanted to elevate it a bit more by using fillet steak and the tomato & Red wine as a reduced sauce.#newcookschallenge
All the best and enjoy 😉

Beef Bourguignon Beef Bourguignon
This classic French dish (bœuf bourguignon) is beef cubes slow-cooked and braised in a red wine / beef stock with a few carrots, mushrooms, pearl onions and a bouget garni. It is a standard in French cooking and a great holiday meal to prepare, along-side another classic, Duchess Potatoes. Beef Bourguignon of course can be found in the book, “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” however I took the liberty with a few steps to simplify things a bit and of course to enhance the flavors. How to Cook Medium Rare Steak How to Cook Medium Rare Steak
I was given delicious looking beef steak as an end of the year gift, I attempted to pan-fry it medium rare. If you use this method to cook it, you can enjoy a tender and juicy steak even at home. If you ever get a hold of delicious meat, give it a try.If you are making Western-style steak sauce, use red wine. If you are making Japanese-style steak sauce, use sake to flambé.Letting the steak sit for 3 minutes and then cutting prevents the juices from escaping. Recipe by Pagurabu cookpad.japan
