Ingredients

  • 2medium chicken breast
  • 10 cmgalangal
  • 3 pcslemongrass
  • 6-8 clovesgarlic
  • 4shallots
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspsugar
  • 100 mlwater (or more)

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut chicken to your desire. I usually cut mine into 2 inch cube. set aside.

  2. 2

    Peel and cut galangal and lemongrass into pieces, put into blender along with garlic, shallot and turmeric, add water, blend until smooth.

  3. 3

    In a saucepan, put the chicken and blended ingredients, boil in a medium heat until it dry out.

  4. 4

    Deep fried the chicken until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Serve with jasmine rice and sambal.
