Ingredients

  1. Step 1: Gravy base
  2. 1/2 cupghee or butter
  3. 1medium size onion
  4. 6-8garlic cloves
  5. 2 tspwhite poppy seeds
  6. 10whole cashews
  7. Step 2: Spices
  8. 4-6whole Indian or Thai green chilies
  9. 1/4 tspground mace
  10. 1 tspwhole peppercorns
  11. 5-8whole cardamoms
  12. 3dried bay leaves
  13. Step 3: Chicken
  14. 1/4 cupwhipped sour cream
  15. 1 tspsalt
  16. 2 lbboneless, skinless chicken thighs, washed and cut into pieces

    Heat the ghee and blend all else from Step 1. Fry the blend in ghee until the oil starts to separate. Keep about 3 cups of water boiling on the side to use twice at step 3.

    Add spices from Step 2 and fry for 2 or 3 minutes.

    Add all from Step 3 and 1 cup of hot water to the mixture. Stir well until everything blends together. Cover when it comes back to a boil. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until the oil separates and a thick gravy starts to sizzle while stirring. At this stage, add another cup of boiling water, stir and simmer with lid on for 5 minutes. Turn off stove. Chicken korma is ready!

Here u don't get poppy seeds...so I use cashewnuts...😊
