Traditional recipe of Andhra. Serve with idli, dosa. You can serve it with hot steamed rice.

Dry roast the sesame seeds in a pan till it becomes golden.

Keep aside. In a same pan heat one tsp oil. Fry dry red chillies for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add curry leaves and stir continuously till it becomes crisp.

Keep aside. Again heat the oil on a same pan. Add chana dal and udad dal fry it till it becomes golden brown.

Switch off the gas. Let it cool down. Transfer all the ingredients together in a blender and blend it coarse powder.

Gun powder is ready.
