Chhole bhature

In a bowl mix maida(all-purpose flour) and whole wheat flour, add curd, oil and salt and combine well. Pour lukewarm water in batches and knead a stiff dough. Rest it for 5-6 hrs.

In a pan heat 1 tbs oil put cumin seeds in it, add ginger garlic paste and saute after 1 min add onion puree saute well. When onion turns pink add tomato puree, saute again.

In a bowl add turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and tamarind powder and mix it with half cup of water.

When onion tomato paste starts leaving pan add masala mix and saute till oil appears.

Add boiled chhole and water add take a boil now simmer it for a while. Aur chhole is ready.

In another pan heat oil for frying bhatura. Make lemon size balls of dough and make a bhatura fry it till golden brown.

Chhole bhature is ready to serve. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve it with onion rings, and pickle.
