Take the chicken along with all other ingredients except onion, oil, water in a bowl and marinate it.

Now heat oil in a Kadhai then fry the onions till it becomes golden brown. Now put the chicken in it and stir for some time.

Then put one cup of water and mix. Then cover it with a lid and let it cook for 15 mins.

Tasty chicken chaap is ready to serve.
