Ingredients

  1. 1 CupBesan (250 ml size)
  2. 2.5 CupsButtermilk (250 ml size)
  3. as per taste Salt
  4. 1 TspRed Chilli Powder
  5. 1/4 TspTurmeric Powder (Haldi)
  6. For tempering
  7. 3 TbspOil
  8. 1 TspMustard Seeds (Rai)
  9. 1 TspSesame Seeds (Til)
  10. PinchAsafoetedia
  11. 5-6Curry Leaves
  12. For garnishing-
  13. 1 TspFinely Chopped Coriander
  14. 1/2 TspGrated Coconut
  15. PinchRed Chilli Powder

Steps

    Assemble all the ingredients.

    Take Buttermilk in a container. Add besan, salt, red chilli powder, haldi. Mix with the help of a blender so that no lumps formation takes place.

    Get the batter be of watery consistency. Microwave on Hi power for 3:30 minutes. Beat it with the help of a beater.

    Grease your platform or plate and spread your khandvi batter on it and let it cool for 2 minutes.

    Make cuts with the help of a knife. Roll your khandvi batter into rolls, making sure that each is of equal thickness.

    Temper it and serve.

    After garnishing it can be refrigerated for 2 hours and then can served chilled.
