Steps

Soak chana dal with little soda or 5 hours.
It will double in size.
Strain the water completely with a strainer.
Dry these on a thick cloth for 25 to 30 mins. - 2
Heat oil and in high flame put the chana dal.
After some time it will start floating and now reduce the flame to medium to high.
Deep fry the chana dal till it turns golden colour and crisp.
Now add all spices to this and mix it well.
Let it cool down and store in air tight container.
