Ingredients

  • 1 lbturkey, sliced into thin strips
  • 4 tspolive, divided
  • 6 TBSPalmonds, slivered
  • 1LG onion peeled thinly sliced
  • 2 clovesgarlic, minced or pressed
  • 2 cupsturkey broth, fat free and low sodium (reserve 1-1/2 cups
  • 1 lbfresh broccoli or 20 Oz. thawed broccoli Spears, sliced diag
  • 1/2 lbfresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsparrowroot
  • 4 TBSPBraggs amino acids

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat wok or large pan over high heat. Add 2 tsp oil and almonds, stir 2 minutes then remove from pan

  2. 2

    Add remaining oil and turkey strips, stir until Brown then remove from pan.

  3. 3

    Combine onion, garlic and 1/2 cup broth in wok. Stir until broth evaporates and onions brown.

  4. 4

    Add broccoli and remaining broth, stir over medium heat 4 minutes. Add mushrooms. Cook until broccoli is tender.

  5. 5

    Mix arrowroot and Braggs amino acids then stir into liquid to thicken. Add turkey and stir 3 minutes. Garnish with almonds
