Besan Dhokla

Mix besan, ginger paste, green chilli paste, turmeric powder, salt and 1 tsp sugar in a bowl. Add yogurt and mix well.

Add 1/2 cup water with eno fruit salt and mix well to make a batter of pouring consistency.

Grease a plate and pour the prepared batter.

Steam it for 15-20 minutes over a medium high heat. Remove and allow it to cool.

Once cooled, cut into desired shapes and keep aside.

Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves and green chilli. Saute for few seconds. Add 1 cup water and 1 tsp sugar. Cook covered for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame. Add lemon juice and mix well.

Pour this tempering over the dhokla making sure it absorbs completely.

Serve dhokla garnished with coriander leaves and coconut.
