Steps

Cut all the vegetables in batonnet as shown. Cut onion into slices.

In a pressure cooker,take all the vegetables add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.

Add 100 ml water and pressure cook for 1 whistle. Allow steam to escape and cool completely.

In a mixer take coconut, jeera and green chillies. Grind to fine paste adding very little water.

Add the ground paste and curd to the cooked vegetables. Mix gently without breaking the vegetables.

Heat coconut oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds after splutters add urad dhal and curry leaves. Mix to the aviyal.

Serve with hot steamed rice and any veg curry of your choice.
