Ingredients

  1. 1 cupbesan (gram flour)
  2. 2 1/2 cupwater
  3. 1/2 tspasafoetida (hing)
  4. 1 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1 tsproasted cumin powder
  6. 1/2 tspblack salt
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  9. 1/2 tspred chilli powder (optional)
  10. As neededOil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    In a deep pan add besan and water.mix well and make a lumps free paste.

    Put this pan on gas. Add all the dry spices powder and salt. Stir it constantly. It will start thickens after 4-5 minutes. Stir it vigorously otherwise it may burn. After couple of minutes it's started leaving pan. Turn of the gas.

    Grease a plate and rolling pin with oil. Take this dough on plate and roll it evenly. Let it cool down completely. Now cut it into squares.

    Heat oil and fry all squares on high flame till gets golden colour. Serve with chutney and sauce. Kids always enjoy it.
