Steps

Stir fry sliced onions in a pan with cooking oil until golden brown on low medium heat.

Add chopped garlic, chopped ginger, red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala and saute until fragrant.

Stir in chicken pieces sand saute for another 10 minutes on medium high heat.

Add tomato paste, salt, green chilli, plain yoghurt, dry fenugreek and water as needed.

Cook for another 20 minutes on low-medium heat with lid on.

Pour some fresh cream(optional), sprinkle ground cumin and freshly chopped coriander leaves.
