Shish taouk

Treat your loved ones on Eid.
Shish in Syrian Arabic means skewers. It is a Middle Eastern and Turkish cuisine famous dish.
Originally marinated with yogurt and lemon. Served in different ways in different cuisines.
In Turkish cuisine it is served with rice and grilled vegetables. In Labanese or Middle Yeast cuisine it is served with Khubus, toum and hummus and Tabouli Salad. Mostly treated on Eids.
So we love to eat it both ways. Today I served it with boiled rice and vegetables on a quick note. And I gave it a desi touch of our own masalas 😉
It is very easy and quick to make.
Note : hung yogurt is simply yogurt with out water. Thick yogurt or you can use regular yogurt as well.
