Ingredients

  • For the filling:
  • 1/2kilo peach slices
  • 2 tablespoonssugar
  • 1 teaspoonground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoonstarch
  • For pie dough:
  • 3 cupsflour
  • 1 cupcold butter cubes
  • 1 cupice water
  • Scrambled egg yolk with a little vanilla
  • salt
  • To serve:
  • For the face:
  • Sugar Icing

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the filling first, in a deep bowl, put the peach slices with sugar, cinnamon and starch, mix well and leave aside

  2. 2

    Mix all the ingredients of the dough together until you get a smooth dough

  3. 3

    Divide the dough into two unequal halves, one of which is larger. Spread the larger one in the oven dish and cover the sides with the dough.

  4. 4

    Put the filling over the dough layer and spread well

  5. 5

    Spread the smaller portion of the dough and cover the filling with the ends closed well

  6. 6

    Using the fork, make several holes in the surface of the dough, then coat with the egg yolk mixture and place the dish in a preheated oven at 180 ° C on the middle rack for 45 minutes.

  7. 7

    When the pie is ripe, remove it from the oven and sprinkle the face with powdered sugar and serve it warm.. bon appetit
