This healthy one pot meal is the best treat in lockdown. Due to unavailability of veggies in our area, have tried it with available ingredients. It's protein and fiber rich. Top it with fried onions and ghee, I love my haleem with a glass of buttermilk.

This healthy one pot meal is the best treat in lockdown. Due to unavailability of veggies in our area, have tried it with available ingredients. It's protein and fiber rich. Top it with fried onions and ghee, I love my haleem with a glass of buttermilk.
Steps

Wash and soak whole wheat in water for 4-5 hours. Dry it for an hour.

Wash and soak all daals for four hours.

Grind wheat in mixie jar. Remove husk. Take all spices, almond add it to soaked daal.

Grind daal to fine paste. Grind wheat to coarse structure. Chop onion and tomato.

Make paste of onion tomato. In a pan add 2 tbsp ghee. Saute onion tomato paste. Add sliced green chillies. Add dry spices and roast.

Add Masala daal paste to it. Saute it for 5-6 minutes. Add grounded wheat. Add water and keep on stirring.

Add birista. Keep on stirring. Cook on low flame. Add remaining ghee. Add salt. Stir continuously. Fry onion in oil.

Serve hot haleem topped with fried onions and chopped dry fruits.
