Chop the onion and tomato.

In a pan add oil. Heat it. Add asafoetida, cumin, mustard seeds and curry leaves. Stir it. Add onion. Stir it for 2 minutes.

Now add tomatoes. Mix it. Add all the spices and cook it for 5minutes.
