First, wash the rice and whistle it in cooker for 2-3 times.

Soak moong daal for an hour, other side chopped the onions, green chillies, potatoes and keep it aside.

Now heat kadhai add 2 tbsp of mustard oil to it add bay leaves, sliced onion, green chillies followed by all the spices, saute till onions and spices binds together, add the soak daal, cook it for another 10 mins then add lukewarm water and let it boil for 20 -25 mins.

Heat another pan, add mustard oil, chopped onion, potatoes, and Cook till it's soft and turn into slight brown.

Finally, when everything is ready serve it hot with spoonful of mixed pickle.
