Fluffy Sardine Bread
Hello there, today I'll like to share my recipe for very fluffy sardine bread. I have tried different recipes and style, but I found many of my past outputs tasted bland. So I decided to add a little twist for that extra kick. I hope you try out this recipe.

Steps
- 1
In a small bowl, add your milk, half of the sugar and yeast. Stir a little and leave for about 5 minutes till it appears 'foamy'
- 2
In a large bowl, add the activated yeast mixture, egg, remaining sugar, flour and salt. Mix well.
- 3
KNEAD very well till you get a SMOOTH AND ELASTIC dough
- 4
Mould your dough into a ball and place in an oiled bowl. Leave in a warm place until it doubles in size.
- 5
While the dough is rising, make your sauteed fish sauce. Do not use more than half teaspoon of oil.
- 6
Once your dough has doubled in size, gently deflate it. Roll into a log and divide into 6 equal parts.
- 7
Roll each part flat. Put about a tablespoon of sardine at the end close to you. Roll up like you'd spring roll or fish roll.
- 8
Place in a well greased pan. Put back in a warm place and leave to rise again.
- 9
Once doubled in size, brush the top with egg wash.
- 10
Bake for about 25-30 Mins depending on the nature of your oven. You can start keeping an eye on it after the 20 mins mark
- 11
*To make your egg wash, you just need to mix 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of milk
