Masur Pulao
Steps

Soak the masur dal for atleast 3 hours.Heat oil in a vessel add the sliced onions fry, add the jeera,laung, black pepper, star anise,dalchini and bay leaves fry till the onions are golden brown.

Add the ginger garlic paste and the green masala paste fry for a few mins then add tomatoes,fry till tomatoes are mashed well then add haldi powder and mix well

Now add the soaked masur and cubed potatoes stir well and fry for few mins then add water cook the dal for a few mins

Then add the rice mix it well add salt. Cook till done
