Steps
- 1
In a big mixing bowl, add all 3 flours- maize, oats and rice. Then add black salt and garlic powder. Dry mix.
- 2
Now add curd, green chillies and fresh coriander. Add minced garlic here if not using powder above.
- 3
Mix everything. Add water little by little to make it a nice runny consistency batter.
- 4
Cover and let it rest for minimum 30 minutes.
- 5
After 30 minutes, grease the griddle lightly with olive oil on a nonstick pan.
- 6
With the help of round shape laddle, spread the batter on pan going from inside circle to outside.
- 7
Flame should be medium. Cover with lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes before flipping side.
- 8
Now after 2-3 minutes, uncover and flip side. One side is perfectly done. Brush little oil on other side and cook until crunchy and golden brown.
- 9
Serve hot with green coriander Chutney and tomato ketchup.
- 10
Do not forget to sprinkle chaat masala on top of cheela for best taste.
- 11
Serve hot.
